To start things off not too big of an adventure. We hiked up Lookout Mountain this morning with my sister and mo. It rained last night which made the weather beautiful and the view fantastic. There was snow on the mountains to the north and east. Overall it was a pretty fun hike, it was actually Makenna's first time up Lookout.

Through some looking around on the internet I became aware of the "Seven Summits of Phoenix". Makenna and I want to make it a goal to hike all seven in the near future. Maybe someday we will actually do the Phoenix Summit Challenge, all seven peaks/summits in one day, which comes to like 23 miles. The challenge is $67 so maybe we will just have to do it on our own but I think it would be pretty fun.

As far as future adventures in the works, we have a few. Not only the seven summits as I mentioned but later this week we plan on backpacking to a place called the Stronghold. And after Christmas we have plans to go do some caving with my Dad.
